QUOTATIONS OF HON’BLE PARTY PRESIDENT

Our mission is to transform Sikkim completely, and attain self-reliance in every sphere of Sikkimese society;

I would rather die than betray my people;

Unless the people are self-sufficient, independence, in its real sense, is meaningless;

Our ideal is to see that the state benefits from education and the educated;

Development alone can guarantee the safety & prosperity of the people;

Let us engage ourselves in constructive politics based on constructive idealism;

Under no circumstances shall we act irresponsibly that may harm the interest of the Sikkimese people or may tarnish the good image of the state;

We have restored the lost voices of the people & gave unto them the elemental freedom to see, to hear & to speak their mind;

Freedom from poverty, illiteracy & unemployment are the essentials of independence & democracy;

We seek to equip our youths with best knowledge & skills to lead the world;

Our stress is on balanced development that would integrate each segment of socio-political life, each aspect of economic activity and all spectra of human endeavour;

Parallel to economic reforms we require second generation reform in politics and political system as well.

Shri Pawan Chamling.
